It's a simple question but I'd like to hear peoples opinions on the subject....

Well, it's like this...

When things are tranquil, stable, and there's no real threatening crisis that demands immediate and well-thought-out action, conservative leadership is appropriate and comfortable.

When things are in flux and we're suffering through turmoil, that's the time for quick action that may well be beyond the bounds of political precedent. That's when progressive leadership works better.

Like now.

Yet Obama's approval rating higher NOW that it was a couple of months ago.

Obama Job Approval Reaches 50% for First Time Since Spring

Also as of now most economic indicators point to 2011 being a better year economically than 2010.

I feel the same way about people who can't see Obama is center-right.

Default will we ever have a true conservative president again

My guess is that we'll have a conservative prez elected in 2016. Once Obama has cleaned up the horrible Bush mess and the country is on an even keel again, it'll be time for another conservative to step in and dump the economy, hopefully not by starting another dumb, unjustified war.
