you posted,"as I don't listen to a lot of what they say".

Prime example of this entire post. The dems jumping up and down with glee thinking they have one on the repubs. When the details are looked at we find there is nothing to jump up and down about.

The GOP is NOT backing down on their promise. The detals are explained in previous posts.

Words have meanings. "I don't listen to a lot of what they say" is not the same as "I hear what they say but I rarely believe what they say"

At least you are honest and admit you rarely believe what they say.

Default PROMISES, PROMISES: GOP drops some out of the gate

Wow, what a shocker...

I almost feel sorry for some of the Republican supporters on this forum. They talk as if there's going to be a revolution. As we're already seeing, it's not going to happen.

Actions speak louder than words. Let's see what the Republicans DO, not what they say.

The spending was not reckless it was done to resuscitate the economy after credit driven consumer demand plunged and business investment literally left the country.

Perhaps English is a second language. But the use of the word varies, here is one of the dictionary definitions.

listen - pay close attention to; give heed to; "Heed the advice of the old men"
