We can debate what Obama did or didn't do all day long. However that is NOT the topic of this thread. Whatever Obama has or hasn't done doesn't change the fundamental fact that Republicans have backed down on campaign promises that they made to get elected.

Why don't you address that instead of deflecting the issue to something else?

Now I've just decided the GOP is full of ****.

Of course it didn't take Jan 6th to realize that. It's been pretty evident for decades.

They NEED to believe. Nobody likes to admit they got suckered.

The essence of any good con is the people getting conned need to believe the scam.

Nobody is whining we are just pointing Republican hypocrisy.

But that is nothing new with regards to the Repblican Party. For the past 50 years they've been the best liars in the history of American politics.

We have, numerous times....

Why don't you explain "Pay as you go Pelozi"

Or "drain the swamp Pelozi".....

Also please explain how we went from 13 trillion debt to over 14 trillion debt in 6 months....July 2010 to December 2010...

Oh, and please don't blame Bush...

Lets see.....

A campaign promise......that you want answered...you complain...about the right....because you are trying to insist that we are not following our own promises....

BUT, I bring up the left did the EXACT SAME THING....for over FOUR YEARS...and you complain....

Please don't try and change the subject....

Nobodies correct...right or left....please get that straight....and into your mind....

But the fact remains....people have lied on BOTH sides....

So for someone (Right or Left) to complain....is a little hypocritical...

It seems to me that the nature of democracy is that it eventually falls apart because an increasing number of interest groups demand increasing amounts of money from a shrinking circle of people. Eventually, that well runs dry, leading to complete economic collapse and either civil war or annexation by foreign powers. The primary distinction between the Democrats and the GOP is that the Democrats want to floor it, whereas the GOP wants to putter along, which is why when conservatives vote for the GOP, they are merely voting for the lesser of two evils.

Both parties will cater to the increasingly large constituent base for discretionary and entitlements programs until it is embedded into the constitution that anyone who derives net income from the government after paying his taxes is temporarily stripped of his right to vote until he returns to the private sector. In Starship Troopers, Heinlein postulated a society in which the right to vote was tied in with military service. We would probably be better off if the right to vote was eliminated for all those drawing a net income from the government.

They aren't, too bad you still cannot see the truth. Watch and see, this Congress will not be a change. I, for one figured that those that should be concerned that the Party they supported lied to them, but over and over the right tried doing that ot the Demos, now you do not like it when they get to do so themselves. Sorry but that is not how it works, one cannot do somehing for four years then whine when the other guys do it to you. FYI, I am not a Demo.
YOU are the one trying to change the subject to the Demos, we are talking about the Repubs and their breaking their promises.
Both sides Lied, well thanks for finally admitting your boys played you.
Not complaining, I expected as much, just pointing out the obvious fact that the love fest for the new Congress is based on fiction, even the diehard fans should know that by now.
