Those are symbollic targets that are intended to focus electoral efforts in a specific state. Kind of like what was used in the movie " The War Room." Wait, that was Clinton, scratch that reference.
Did you actually feel that a weapon was being pointed at someone in those states ?
this is just a pathetic opportunistic attempt of the liberals to take a shot at a popular conservative. symbolism like that is commonplace in politics and isnt limited to conservatives. obama himself referred to his political opposition as "enemies." there is nothing wrong with her use of cross hairs to show politicians that are being targeted in elections.
This is the country that changes leaders without bloodshed. We have elections. I had never heard the term "crosshairs" until Arizona happened. I have no idea what you are talking about, but if you are suggesting that Sarah Palin is in any way suggesting harming another human being, you are worse off than the Arizona shooter.
I'm as conservative as they come...I've also voted Democrat before...I thought both candidates in 2008 were losers, and 2012 is not shaping up any better...at the end of the day any politician who uses 'verbiage or images' which could be aligned with combat or murder while engaging in routine politics other than war itself is just wrong.
Gun nuts are dangerous. We had a ban on assault weapons that lasted 10 years & expired under Republicans in 2004. It was passed after that Colin Ferguson blew 6 people away on the LIRR. 30 bullet clips like this nut job used were also banned during that time. It's much harder to shoot 20 people quickly if you have only 6 or 8 bullets in the clip
