I am usually on the left side of the political spectrum, but I have voted for Republicans in the past and agree with some conservative policies. That said, this forum feels like it is dominated by conservative viewpoints and I would like to know if others feel the same way?
I'm sure there will be conservatives that think there are more liberal views here, but I just don't see it based on all of the threads and posts that bash the President and people on the left side of the spectrum.
I've also noticed that there are threads/posts that bash conservatives, but they don't seem as common. The liberals on this site also seem to be more polite. I know there are exceptions however.
Thoughts?
I don't think so. It has the spin that he posters put on the issues. Lib poster, lib spin. Conservative poster, conservative spin.
All 'n all, i think it's generally fair around here.
Personally I believe we have more left leaning posters then right leaning by a large margin.
I believe we have many more far left posters here then far right posters also by a large margin.
If you read down through many post you will find several left leaning people posting in almost every thread.
The post counts for left leaning posters is huge compared to the much smaller right leaning posters postings.
I believe we have far more "radical" left leaning posters here as well.
Based on the death threats I have received from lefties through messages just for me posting opinions I can truly say that the radicals are lefties for sure.
I cannot see one right leaning person who post here that would send a death threat to someone.
Right leaning posters seem to be more sensible and not as mean spirited as well.

C'mon now, death threats?? I have posted crazier stuff than you and never received anything like that. Seriously, if this is true I feel empathy for you, but this sounds way too far out there to be taken seriously.
well we do have one poster who has started 30 threads in the last 30 days. 29 are in PandOC...the other is in elections.
Was one about swinging babies that could have perhaps gone elsewhere. Then again parenting may have moved it.
Of the 30 it is difficult to find one that would be considered a left or central view.
Off hand I can't find a single non right winger that has any where near that number of threads in the last 30 days. Perhaps however I don't know who the leftist are?
It is amazing. I do this a bit and I don't think I have started 30 threads in a year. or even two.
But that all I am sure was to bring understanding. Nothing partisan.

Yes. I have received some really over the top rep comments and DM. I would love to post one I received not too long ago.

When I first joined I had pictures of my drilling equipment on my profile.
On the equipment was my address and phone number, even a toll free number.
I think this forum has a balance between conservatives and liberals.
I don't see any bias one way or the other.
