Exactly! They know it isn't going any where and if they could repeal it they have nothing in the works for their new and improved one.

I absolutely love it, you have a Representative saying that the vote to repeal is not 'merely symbolic" and yet they know there is no chance of it passing the Senate Floor.Just another way to garner votes in the 2012 Election. Oh and a humongous WASTE of money and time in the mean time. Gotta love those Politicians.

They did vote to repeal it today, and of-course we know it is going no where but right past the Senate straight to the President where it will be vetoed. End of story, mission accomplished, as in promise kept by the right, and by retaining the bill by the left. Now maybe everyone can get down to the real business at hand.

Are they speed readers because they are Senators? We all know that not one damned Senator had read it when they voted for it. I am talking about both parties now.

Since most of them don't even try to read bills of 1,000 pages I am pretty sure that they didn't read 2,500 +. The Dems voted for it because it was Obama's baby and still is his number one thing for this term.

They didn't have time to really read that thing from introduction time to vote it in time but they voted for it anyway. I am pretty sure that every Republican who voted for it hadn't read it either. Whoops, none of them voted for it.

The House won't save anything by repealing it. Of course, if the Senate should manage to go along then Obama would be in a hole that he and his czars dug with very little way out.

I get a kick out of listening to Cavuto take those people apart with both of them yelling and the Dem really not knowing what is going on. That woman had told him that the woman behind her was saved because of that law when he told her the woman was on Medicare and was saved because of that and not Obamacare.

That woman has been talking on Fox all day and can never talk her way out of all the crap she threw.

Just repeal it, and write a new bill. this time we can discuss health care out in the open and write good law.

I do like the irony, it was not required that we read it before congress passed it, but we are now supposed to read before we repeal it.

Breitbart.tv » Nancy Pelosi: We Need to Pass Health Care Bill to Find Out What’s In It

How about this one, since no one read the bill before it was made into law, we scrap it, and write law the proper way?
The thing I detest most about this law is that it was written in Harry Reid's offices mostly at night by insurance leaders, union bosses, and three or four Senators with not one Republican involved. This law is the biggest thing our Congress has ever written and since it provides for more than 54 new bureaus to administer it it has to have way too much regulatory crap in it which will cause lots of businesses to stop operating. However, the purpose of the law was not to make health care cheaper or to get more people covered. They wanted those who receive care because of it to become more dependent on the government which would lead to socialism, and those people just wouldn't know what hit them until it is too late.

Nobody read the Stimulus bill but voted for it and it wasn't as long and far reaching as this abortion is. That Lee woman kept talking about all the jobs that this law would provide but never said anything about it being those bureaus for regulation that would provide all the new jobs. Stupidity among our elected officials can run pretty hard into socialism.

Has that favorability managed to get over 50% in your polls? Today Obama was at -9% on the Rasmussen Reports above -10 for the first time since June of 2010. Now any fool would know that he would be about that place after making the speech he made last week. It isn't because the people who seriously don't like him are changing over but because many people who didn't approve seriously have switched. They will awaken soon but for right now he is better, just as that law is.

Too many people really don't know what has happened with taxes since the thing went into effect. Too many really do think that they will get all kinds of care free or much cheaper. Who has to pay for it if these things are true? I guess it must be that just over 50% who pay income taxes. That shows me that all of us who pay those things are the wealthy who certain people are after for having too much money.

Do you not think that many who are supposed to benefit from it don't think they will get free care? I am sure that many of them do and they may wake up when they find out what the truth is. Too many people can't see that those 30 million people who don't have health insurance but most can get Medicaid won't be any better off. Most of them can't understand that doctors will have to agree to accept them with government paying.

All of those corporate people had their lawyers read the final form and found that they couldn't remain in business with that mandated form of health insurance.

I know many smaller corporations that will be forced to drop their insurance for employees because it would be cheaper to pay the fines and that is what the writers of the abortion wanted to happen. Shut them all down and let the outstanding managers among the czars regulate and run the small businesses they ran out of business.
