Reality, without the partisan spin (except from those speaking on the floor of course), is often boring. Just as broadcast news before 1980 was often just as boring. C-SPAN is a "public service", like broadcast news was before 1980. They do not make a profit.

It is not the political partisan rhetoric of the politicians that creates the divide among Americans. It is the political partisan rhetoric of mainstream media (CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, and Fox), and they are cashing in on that divide. The more politically polarized the nation becomes, the more money they make.
