I own a Audi Q7 V8 and a Hummer H3 (the V8 version, and not the 5 cylinder one). I said good. I hope gas goes to $5.
I can afford to pay gas on my SUVs. Most of the idiots who buy SUVs don't have any clue how much it costs them. If gas gets to $5, I'll just go out and buy myself a Civic or Corolla (love those cars and have own 3 of them previously).
Gas prices are artificially priced anyways. The US Govt and the Saudis are both in this together. There's no reason why Gas prices fell from like $4 to $1.50 in 3 months during the economic downturn in late 2008.
Notice gas prices were creeping over $3 back in the Spring of 2010. Bamm, the stock market took a 10% hit. So summer is the time when gas prices go up, but a weird thing happened this summer. Gas prices actually went back down to around $2.60 in most places.
So when more people are using gas in the summer of 2010, gas prices are going down? Think about that. All govt/Saudis collusion.
Now that the economy seems to be stabilizing, the govt and the saudis think it's safe to start jacking up the prices again.
Interesting that you say that (facetiously or not), if gas goes to 4 bucks, they'll wish that he was back in power. In fact, i think if he was still the president, they would've already done it. They don't have friends in the White House at the moment (although, they really do...just not the kind they want), so they're being more incremental about it.
LOL....
Funny,I really dont hear Liberals or Dems b*tching about gas prices now that a Dem is running the show.
If I recall somewhere Obama say "$5.00 a gallon is O.K. with him"
