DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK IF YOU LOVE SQUIRRELS.
It depicts a squirrel being launched, at rather high speeds.
I'm not going to deny, it makes me laugh, hard, every time I see it. BUT is it cruelty? Or is the person simply getting rid of a pest? Incidently, I've eaten squirrels, they are quite tasty. I also have fed them peanuts with my kids...Key Elton Johm......The Ciiirrrrrrrcle of Lifeeeeeeeeee
Decide for yourself. I don't think the squirrel died.
DOn't CLick if you can't handle watching a squirrel flying at Mach 2.
I think it's cruel. Here is how I came to that decision:
There is a possibility that the animal could be injured, and could suffer a slow, painful death, or just a painful life. It's not the fault of the animal that it was born, and that it's job is to do what its instinct tells it to do. Injuring it and letting it live in pain would not be humane.

I agree and have hunted squirrels being cruel is not part of the game. Besides "we got no deal with the squirrels", LOL

Yeah, I wouldn't do it. For the reasons mentioned above. Thing might suffer for a while. I used to live on a farm. People used to drop their unwanted dogs outside of town, in the backwoods. We lived in them thar backwoods. Those dogs, they form packs. Those packs, decimate local wildlife, and you'd have a random stray who might show up and kill all your turkeys or chickens. He dug under the fence. Yeah, he did.
Smart dog.
He wasn't smarter than that rifle the next night, though.
We didn't torture the thing, though. I shot it in the head and buried it. He didn't even EAT the chickens. I think he ate like one. He killed more than 1/2 of them.
LOL!!!!
Wish my dad thought about this when we lived in Philly and had all the gross stray cats come in our yard...
