The Health reform will carry on as it is. Nothing will be repealed and the senate will not pass anything that congress puts to them. Health care reform will go ahead. Instead of trying to destroy health care in the USA..... the Republicans should try to make some kind of effort to help solve America's failed health system. Now they hold Congress they have discovered they have to actually do something and guess what..... they are out of ideas..... already.

Why should they if the reform carries on? You're making no sense.

Because good reform requires intelligent input. Change needs "tweeking" not destroying. All i can see of the Republican party is "we want to get into the Whitehouse" They seem to be suffering from the action talks and Bull*hit walks syndrome and they seem to be walking.
Either they want to be part of the solution or part of the problem.... erm let me see........... part of the problem seems to be their decision

What if we had a far-right president down the road and that president used Obamacare as a precedent to push something similar radical on you? How would you feel?

Healthcare act ruled -void, but all Senate Democrats voted today to keep it as if nothing happened in a court.

We vote in the Govt to make reforms that are good for the people. Obama was voted in on the ticket of change. Fear tactics have now made many reverse their feelings for big health care reform. If we don't want or trust our Govt then we should have a referendum on every new law that some object to..... that is impossible. Radical does not mean BAD. If we don't like what the party wants to do then don't vote for them. Everyone will never agree on every law passed or think it's good for "them" but someone has to make the tough decisions and that is the Govt in power. We can object and we can say a law is no good ior good but who in the end is right?
If a democratic Govt is not what you want...then what would you replace it with.......... hands up all in favour?????? don't think so

It does not mean they can just continue implementing it until the SCOTUS hears the case, because the 0bama admin has not asked for a stay on the ruling. If they do not request a stay, and they do not appeal the ruling, then there will be no supreme court hearing on the matter, because as of right now, the law has been voided.
One Judge's ruling foes not void the law when other judges have ruled in a different manner.

The Republicans aren't trying to kill our health care system; this bill will take care of that, with exploding costs galore.

America's businesses of all sizes already know that, which is why 730+ waivers have been issued so far.

Sorry but the health system in the USA is not only dead but has been buried for a long long time. For millions of Americans ANY change right now would be a improvement. Big business always tries to find a way of getting out of paying what the rest of normal Americans pay... nothing new there. If obama is not allowed to change the way health care in the USA is carried out then nthe country will look at the last recession as just a mere blip.
Too much compromise has had to take place to placate the Republicans which has led to a bill that i'm sure even Obama did not really want but he knows that making change in a fear based America takes small steps.
The Amount of employment alone with a completely new health system would pay for any amount it would cost. Todays health system in the USA is probably the most expensive per capita and least efficiant of any Industrialised country...Iraq will soon overtake America in good health care.

To kill this health bill will please the Republicans and that is for political gain and nothing to do with what is best for America.

America should look at what other countries are doing and take the best ideas and leave the bad ones.

Kill this bill at your peril. The Republicans are more than happy to see American health care stay as it is... not move forward as that would upset their status quo. The judges ruling will not stop the bill... this decision is just one of many that would be needed to affect this bill and that is not going to happen.
