A fictitious company has an workforce made up of the following employee demographic, of various religious mix; of almost equal age, management/supervisory and unskilled labor levels:

21- White male employees
20- White female employees
22- White gay/lesbian employees

Is this a diverse workplace?

As long as everybody thinks the same, dresses the same, and has the same hobbies: then and only then is diversity okay. And that is how it goes.

Diverse workplace in my mind: Where everyone is different in some way but can still get along

Diverse workplace in the mind of society: 50% white, 50% any minority

If the fictitious owner of that company says that it's diverse, then it's diverse. But if everyone there is of almost equal age, that would be kinda wierd.

BTW....there must be thousands of workplaces like the one you describe in America right now with the possible exception of the "equal age" thing.
