Diversity isn't as important as qualified.
If they are mostly Black, Indian, White, Asian or Martian, the issue is getting the job done the best way. Should the outcome not be of a certain preferred mix of color, religion, race or sex who really cares?
You can NOT determine outcomes.
You can only make applications for employment available for all wishing to apply, then may the best person win. That's the American way before socialism.

Is this a diverse workplace?
lol... So you don't consider the gay/lesbian employees to be either male or female?

diversity is being able to learn new things from eachother. be they about bygone eras(working with older people), cultural holidays(working with international people), religious practices(working with varied religious/spiritual peoples), dating trends(working with young people... gay people, frat boys, party girls) , etc etc.
diversity is learning from eachother and being ok with our differnces.
i am fortunate to work in a diverse environment (from the top down).
i am fortunate to have learned alot from my colleagues.

maybe diversity is as simple as being able to sit in the lunch room and enjoy eachothers international (and home cooked) meals together.

Diversity is as important as the owner of the business says it is.

To me real diversity isn't a number, statistic or a choice its a capability; some call it team work and some call it cooperation.
IMO, for the politically correct, boasting diversity is another way to be intolerant and look good.
Any one group not in the OPs fictitious company can claim its not diverse enough. Its a closed loop question all answers are wrong.

Why don't we all worry less about "diversity" and worry more about productivity and efficiency?
