Was this also predicted by the man-made global warming crowd?

Northern Mexico cold snap paralyzes Ciudad Juarez | Reuters

Record low temperatures hit the city, across from El Paso, Texas, from Tuesday, which is already suffering from some of the worst violence in Mexico's drug war, fluctuating between -0.4 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit (-18 and -10 degrees Celsius).

"There have been cold temperatures in the past, but nothing that has lasted for so many days. It's been 40 years since the city has seen an emergency like this," said Efren Matamoros, head of the city's civil protection service.

Units at 17 power stations -- with 6,792 megawatts of generating capacity -- in northern Mexico shut down due to the unusually cold weather, forcing the national electricity monopoly to ask factories to curb usage

b-b-b-b-b-b-b-ut it's all the moisture and rain making snow! That's how we can accommodate for our failure to predict that global warming = more snow!

Wish my field of study was as easy as the church of climatology. Being able to alter my hypothesis and not have to repeat the scientific method is much more convenient.

You all really need to stop jumping for joy every time the weather changes. Scientists have known for many decades that warmer temps would bring more chaotic weather patterns, including more snow in certain areas and less moisture in others. You won't believe anybody but yourselves and your political agenda, but:

"Even though this is quite a cold winter by recent standards it is still perfectly consistent with predictions for global warming," - Dr Myles Allen, head of the Climate Dynamics group at Department of Physics, University of Oxford.

First off the title of your post is incorrect since the first thing you mention is Man-made-global warming, you title should reflect what you ar discussing. Secondly getting some snow or cold weather in no way dicounts the fact that the Gobal Waming is a FACT, that shows ignorance of the subject on your part. Do more reading, try avoiding the same sites you are getting your current opinions at this time, the other 95% of sources will gve you a clearer picture.

Good to see you finally getting the picture.

You know you need cold air to make snow?

The only thing this scientist cares about is getting through his dissertation and getting tenure so I can stop hiding the fact that I'm not a progressive to colleagues. Now I know how gays feel.

I'm glad to see you used the term "Global Warming". Ever since the government funded scientist saw with their own eyes that record snow, increased density of ice-caps and "global" blizzards made them (Global Warming) look like complete asses they have "conveniently" renamed there pseudo Armageddon to "Climate Change".
“Climate Change” is as ambiguous of a term as lefty politicians would have it. Warning of an event that is not only inevitable but impossible to disprove (like a witch hunt).

We can easily say that Global Cooling causes warmer summers, drier weather and drought then change that to “Climate Change” too. Of course all we really need is a political agenda!

I’m sure those Mexicans will survive, their “CLIMATE” will “CHANGE” in a few days.
