Once again, they crush the competition. How many years running does that make it? 8? 10?
That is also more reflective of the conservative mindset to want existing ideas reinforced. I think most who vote liberal (except the far extremes perhaps) prefer a less ideological and more balanced presentation of the news and ideas, which is why CNN and NPR are more popular for them than liberal talk radio and TV, like Olbermann or The Ed Show.
Anyway - as the above poster said - it's about fading ratings, not comparison ratings.
In January, Beck's eponymous talk show posted the steepest ratings declines for any cable news program. Glenn Beck averaged 1.8 million viewers, down 39% vs. January 2010. In 25-54, the drop was even bigger, 48%, to 397,000.
...this is a very steep decline for Beck, who peaked at 2.8 million viewers in 2009....
Beck has also come under fire for his attacking style and controversial remarks, including his 2009 statement that President Obama was a racist that led to in a number of advertisers pulling from his show. As of Sept. 2010, 296 advertisers had asked not to be on Glenn Beck, up from 26 in August 2009.
Also hard hit in January was Fox News' On the Record with Greta (1.5 million, down 36%; 333,000 in 25-54, down 49%).
Only true genius, benevolence, sincerity, patriotsism, etc. stands the test of time. People that make a name for themselves via the strategies that people such as Beck do, do not last long. Yes, we have serial killers and madmen that become household names due to the sensationalisim that people in this ass backwards country are addicted to, but Beck-like individuals are lucky if they wind up as footnotes in some obscure publuication. Good riddance to the negative energy.
Well, Onion doesn't make things up, so it's a little more difficult to be creative.
Does Beck really make up all those quotes he puts up on his TV show? I wonder how that can be when so many of them have been published in the past. Somehow I think that you don't really watch him as much as you say you do but do get those words about the lies from some of the places like MM.
If you are so sure that he is making them up maybe you need to use some search engine to find out the truth. I know that would take a lot of time but sometimes you could save yourself from doing what you accuse him of doing.
Technically speaking, Glenn's ratings are worse, not better. But hey... who cares about the numbers right? (Btw, that link provides the same information that was linked in the original post.)
Great link. However, I find that some here read only what they wanted to read and none of what I saw. i wonder about that kind of crap.
Would the date, August 13, 2009 have anything to do with what your link says? i guess you didn't know about the importance of dates in links, but this one fails really bad.

Huh?!? We've already proven to you that Beck makes up lies. Case closed. I'm sorry to tear your mentor down from the pedestal you've created for him.
This thread is about Beck's plummeting ratings.
