So I disappointed my former History professor who is heavily liberal and supports the democrat party. Today we were talking politics and my friends asked me what I was, I told them that I am a Republican and I lean right with some of my political views.

A lot of my friends didn't care, we have our own separate political views but my history professor overheard me and told me how he did not "expect" anything like that. He told me that I should really "look" into my decision and everything.

Kinda threw me for a loop and I asked him why, he said, "being a member of a minority group yourself, you should reconsider blindly supporting a party full of members and supporters who would condone you solely on the color of your skin".

I was shocked to see my professor make that big of a deal out of it but usually, how do liberals (of all colors) react when they see that a member of a minority group is conservative and supports the republican party?

You shouldn't worry so much about how liberals treat you. Just stick with your beliefs and don't worry about whether they think a certain way or not. People of all political persuasions are surprised that others don't think like them.

Why are you duplicating a topic that Ron. already started.
I'm beginning to believe that this is simply a talking point.

Please check for thread topics before you post duplicate threads.
This makes the third thread on this topic:

Why should you worry about how Liberals feel about your support of the Republican party ANYMORE than we minority Liberals should be concerned with the comments made towards us from Conservatives about our support of the Democrat party? Its no one's business

Well from this board alone, I get **** for being a Republican Hispanic. If I don't mention my race, they are pretty nasty with the uneducated, and moronic comments that suggest I don't know anything.

And this is any different from the numerous ignorant threads and comments from the Right concerning Blacks who vote Democrat how exactly? Again, no one's business. So why are you concerned what someone says about you and your Freedom of Choice?

Because it's true you blacks are used and abused by the Democrats and are largely ignored by them because, let's face it. You're not a competitive bloc of voters. You are reliably in the back pocket of the Democrats so they can afford to ignore your plight. Why else have conditions NOT improved in the cities across the U.S. where blacks always keep voting in the same useless morons into power?

You Blacks? So you speak for us Now? Your arguement is just as ridiculous as any that are made about hispanics, mexicans, asians or any other minority group. You like any other person who feel their more superior than someone else that a scripted and bias response is FACTUAL definition of an entire race. Well guess what ITS NOT.
Maybe YOU as a hispanic forgot that it is YOUR race that is the Majority over blacks. Maybe YOU as a hispanic need to take a look in house to the failings of YOUR "community" before yelling fire at the neighbor next door.
