Because the GOP newcomers who supposedly came in on the Tea Party vote have done nothing but decry and condemn the bailout. But evidence shows that the bailout actually worked, that massive government spending did in fact keep us out of Great Depression II.
It's definitely going to be an interesting Presidential race. Obama certainly isn't sitting comfortably, and he has a lot to criticize, even from Democrats. It will all come down to who the GOP runs. If they really are dumb enough to run Trump or Palin, it will be hilarious. Gringrich, despite being a classic snake in the grass, could give Obama a run for his money. I suspect Huckabee is going to try again, but the guy is too nice to ever be President. Romney will probably run again, and I don't see him defeating Obama unless there is a major change in the country.
You've got to be kidding me. The republicans--who've spent the last two months on abortion, repealing health care, and union busting, are somehow responsible 2 months after taking office for lower unemployment? Start doing something to work with small business to support private sector job creation, and cutting the pork to big business (many who are creating jobs OFF SHORE) and then we'll talk.
Obama gets the credit for the improving economy. This is bad news for Republicans.
The economy isn't improving, the only people stupid enough to believe that are the idiot democrats who worship Obama and believe any crap that he throws out there. Hope and change baby, hope and change.
See, I told you. The improving economy is bad for Republicans and it is going to drive them crazy because Obama will be getting the credit. As he should.
