Every day, almost 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes. God would certainly see this as a problem much more than Gay Marriage amendments being passed, would he not?

I thought obesity was the big problem in this country.

You got actual, real-life documentation for that?
On a side note, it's been well-documented that 300k+ abortions are done per year. You going to get behind the effort to stop that? Or is that part of the plan to stop the mythical 16,000 daily?
Now...who are the ones that are REALLY caring about the kids? I'll give you a hint: caring people don't kill the ones they're trying to help rather than feed them.

I thought Sally Struthers had the whole children starvation thing under control.

Mythical? Do you actually live in this world? Actually the number is more than 17,000.

I'm not a theologian and I will not pretend to speak for God - but I get the impression that we aren't supposed to pick one or two things to do right, but rather do it ALL right. Is that possible? Nix-nein-Frankenstein. Enter the New Testament.
Is it? Give me some good documentation then--it shouldn't be hard.

Are you trying to hi-jack this thread?
Nope...but there are more pressing battles we should fight--like making sure kids are actually born. In addition to that, I think if we were to make adoption easier and less expensive we might see more kids adopted--even starving kids in poor families that can't afford them, or the ones sitting in orphanages.
