We have news today that AFTER A WEEK, the US has given command and control of the Libyan operation to NATO. Our involvement there as the president has maintained all along was merely to support the UN resolution. Contrast this with Bush, who goes it alone, after lying to Congress, and shunning NATO. Bush then commits this country to two wars without end. Credit to president Obama. He's good and is proving to be incredibly smart and calculated.

yeah NATO is still the same 5 forces that did the initial airstrikes the US, Canadian, britsh, French are all NATO members and they are still there no a now a french-Canadian general who served in Norads canadian command and trained and served with the U.S. army for 2 years is now in charge.

so a english and french speaking Canadian who has served in CF for 27 years and was a combat helicopter pilot who served in the fist iraq war and sebia/bosnia conflict and trained with US forces and reports directly to a US general who is a military advisor to the joint cheifs of staff to the pentagon. takes charge of a US ,british ,French, italian and canadian coalition force it was kinda like he was perfect for the job.

trust me the US is advising him and he just relays the message to the british and french to co-ordinate everyone. NATO is as not stupid like the U.N. can be.

I think you had a serious misspelling in the bolded words. Calculated doesn't at all fit the sentence but calculating would fit very well. Which did you intend.

Hey, i read that title and had the best laugh I have had all day.

Under Bush he turned over all his WMD without a fight and wasn't assassinating all his people because he feared and respected Bush.
Same can't be said of "The One" Obamy.

So handing over control to NATO is an example of being "effective"? How "effective" do you have to be to delegate responsibility?

How "effective" has Obama been at getting us out of existing wars before starting a new one?

Bush didn't get us into any wars all on his own (unlike Obama), Bush had the full support of the House and Senate virtually all of them voted for war. Also as you liberals always forget every intelligence agency on the planet agreed that there were WMD in Iraq, this "Bush lied" BS is pure liberal fantasy.

Obama made his decision unilaterally - something Biden said he would impeach Bush for, can you say double standard?
