Alabama legislators have introduced bills that would grant personhood to fetuses from the moment of conception—and they appear to have a lot of support. One bill, introduced in both the House and Senate, would amend the Alabama Code of 1975 to alter the definition, while another House bill would amend Alabama’s constitution to the same effect, the American Independent reports.

They want to do the same thing in Oklahoma. Maybe in Oklahoma and Alabama they think life is so good and great, except time needs spent in refining the abortion laws.

It'll be shot down as Unconstitutional as the Supreme court has already weighed in on the issue. Roe v. Wade .. these legislators need to go back to school and read the Constitution.

maybe it's because way too many babies have been murdered in this country.

•In 2000, 1.31 million abortions took place, down from an estimated 1.36 million in 1996. From 1973 through 2000, more than 39 million legal abortions occurred.

It's true that it will be shot down.

But everyone knows that a person starts when sperm hits the egg.

Oh yeah, isn't the word "shot" the kind of rhetoric that Democrats condemn?

Violence could erupt from the use of this kind of language.

The word "shot" could be very damaging in society today.

Well, maybe we could just kill some babies. That's OK.

LOL @ people who think because something is legal, it's also moral and ethical.

So if banning abortion is so right and good before God, then name me one country you wish you could live in because there abortion is banned. I bet you can't do it.

actually a person (baby, human) is when they are born. Before that they are a fetus; and a fetus isn't a person by any definition of that word.

Sorry, but didn't you learn at age 3 that just because everyone else is doing something, doesn't mean its right. Simply put, we enshrined life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in our founding documents. Which part of life don't you get? Is it the L? maybe the I is throwing you off? Actually, you probably pay way too much attention to the I because abortion is selfish. Nevermind, ranting...
