The arrest of Brian J. Doyle, 55, raised doubts about the ability of an agency responsible for safeguarding the country to ensure the security credentials of its own people.
Doyle is accused of 23 felony charges related to sexually graphic conversations with what he thought was a teenage girl, who was in fact an undercover Florida detective. The charges, lodged Tuesday night by the Polk County, Fla., Sheriff's Department, included 16 counts of sending pornographic movie clips to a minor.

Authorities said Doyle also sent non-sexual photos of himself. They included one of him in Homeland Security headquarters, wearing an agency pin on his lapel and a lanyard that says "TSA," which stands for the Transportation Security Administration, a branch of the department for which he once worked.
Homeland Security also oversees an Operation Predator unit, which investigates child predators and pornographers.
Why, exactly, are we supposed to be shocked that there are perverts out there? Have you never watched "To Catch a Predator"?
The article doesn't mention any prior arrests. If there were none, what kind of "screening" was supposed to identify this guy as a possible pedophile? During my last security clearance investigation they didn't seem to have any sort of Minority Report technology working...
Since this has nothing to do with security and everything to do with control, either feeling up people or seeing them naked, does not surprise me that you have pedophiles working there. Or just plain pervs. They get to touch or look at kids AND get paid to do it. Great job, TSA, great job.
So the TSA is supposed to detect what crimes someone is going to commit in the future? Should the Buffalo Bills be seen in a negative light now for drafting OJ Simpson? What's your point?
This poor little 6 yr old girl, how could her mother just bloody stand there? What kind of sheep have we become? This is what to protect us from the gang who can't even set off shoe and panty bombs? Disgusting and sickening to have this going and allowing it to go on. What in the name of sanity has happened to America's soul?
