HAMILTON, N.J. — Mourners tangled with police at the funeral for a school lunchroom worker Friday morning, after officers handcuffed a relative who began having seizures at the viewing.
The “riot," as one officer described it on the police radio, broke out at the Hartmann Memorial Home in Hamilton Square during calling hours for Elsie Wenzel, a retired Trenton Central High School food server who died April 11 at age 71.
