1) Heterosexuals utilize it for the same purpose 2) If that organ wasn't for pleasure as well, why does it have sensory nerves that only respond to sexual stimuli, and why is the prostate the male G spot?

Agreed. We are all engaged in some kind of behavior that could be risky. I play with matches, for example. I could cause a fire.

Although it is true that STD's are a major reality for the gay community, this does not mean that they are living an invalid lifestyle. A gay person could avoid these STD's if they have a monogamous relationship. If this was supposed to be an attack on the gay community, then it has failed miserably. Whether gays have sex or not, they are still gay at the end of the damn day. I know this because I am gay and have the benefit of seeing the nonsensical attack on gays from the religious right wing. Trust me...the religious right are so f'd up and they don't even know it.

If you don't like gay sex, then don't have gay sex. You can even be gay and be completely free of STDs, so there is no "gay lifestyle", as suggested by the author of this thread.

Besides that, lesbians have lower rates of STDs than heterosexual women, so perhaps more heterosexual women should become lesbians, if we're going to use the stupid logic presented by this discussion.

And all of the homophobes can go to hell, as far as I'm concerned.

Perhaps we should start a thread on the dangers the self-righteous conservatives face due to their "unhealthy lifestyle" of judgement, hate, and intolerance.
