Hate to intrude on your liberal bliss with actual reality but Obama essentially thew England and Israel under the bus. He's done little if anything to improve our international reputation.
What change he managed to ram down the nation's throat with regard to health care has done as much if not more to further impoverish the country and enrage voters as it has done to provide any actual assistance. It remains to be seen how much of his healthcare reform will even be left in place by the time the lawsuits opposing it are finished.
Bush was correct about Bin Laden. He was one person that was little more than a figurehead. His death accomplished essentially nothing to reduce to threat of terrorist activity.
Yeah, that's where the smoke 'em out language came from, right? See, I remember all that. Bush DID make a big deal of it and then not.
Meanwhile, Bush did NOTHING to close off our borders and it's just been dumb luck nothing has happened.
And you cannot even comment on healthcare reform as it's three years off. Get a grip!
Really? What order did he give? Please provide a link to a believable source.
More accurately he's annoyed, belittled, and offended our allies. Attempted to throw multiple roadblocks in the way of those actually working to fight terrorism. Contributed to an even more divided and partisan Congress, and generally attempted to manipulate military efforts and sacrifices to his personal political gain.
It's nice that you're easily impressed with the claims of accomplishment this administration constantly spews. Sadly, actual events do not support their claims.
you can't muster a few key strokes into a search engine? he gave the damn order, he is the president. your illogical hateful anti-Obama believes are the ones that require evidence.
so: please give some statistics at least
1. our relationship with our allies
2. our terrorism projects (cost money)
3. his fault in the existance of his unreasonable enemies such as yourself that are the only things dividing the Congress
4. he is supposed to manipulate military efforts, since he is the President, but how did he do it solely for his personal gain and inspite of obvious dangers to other?
Bush said in 2002, that he didn't think or care about Bin Laden. Its documented...kind of undeniable, which makes the right look even more delusional when they try and pretend Bush hunted down Bin Laden till the very end. You can go watch the clip on YouTube.
As was mentioned in a thread a few months ago, Bush may have said that so it would catch the terrorists off guard.

He closed the CIA wing who's goal was to capture and/or kill Bin Laden. He also said, along with nearly everyone else on the right, that he would not go into Pakistan (especially without permission) to get Bin Laden, and that it was reckless for Obama to even say that he would, let alone do it. Well, he and the rest of the right was wrong, and Obama was right.
Obama made Bin Laden's capture THE number one CIA priority. He sent an elite team into Pakistan without them knowing (which we now know was the right way to do it, since it appears they haven't been honest about their relationship with them, or us) and under his order, they took out Osama Bin Laden. Luckily, since he actually THINKS, he took a risk, we didn't just bomb the hell out of the compound, and it paid off tremendously with DNA proof, and all sorts of windows (via Hard Drives, documents, numbers, etc) into Al Qaeda. He deserves credit. He also showed great reserve by not "spiking the football", even though he had clear reason to do so. As opposed to the last guy who flew onto an aircraft carrier to celebrate the ending of a war we fought till the end of his term...
"My preference obviously would be to capture or kill him," he said. "But if we have so tightened the noose that he's in a cave somewhere and can't even communicate with his operatives then we will meet our goal of protecting America."
The Matthew Shephard Act, possibly getting rid of DOMA...
There's a couple right there.
