President Obama (as does every Black professional in America) knows that his accomplishments will be scrutinized with the fine tooth comb that some in White America tends to reserve specifically for accomplished Black people.

The mentality has been and continues to be that a Black person could not have possibly earned a 4.0 GPA or earned an advanced degree. Or graduated at the top of their class....nope, it must be Affirmative Action. This mentality occurs amongst Whites of all socioeconomic levels but is most prevalent amongst the uneducated/undereducated who have never stepped foot on a 4-year college campus. And then you have the ones who are classmates who can not believe that you earned a higher grade on an exam or paper...that also must be Affrimative Action because they can not accept that they are less intelligent than a Black person.

President Obama knows all of this. He has experienced all of this. And he knows how the minds of the Beck/Limbaugh/Trump crowd works....its nothing new.

Socialists absolutely detest being scrutinized. Where as Trump's life has been open to scrutiny for years. I thought the Democrats wanted openess? Just another example of liberal hypocrisy. I love it when a person like Donald Trump can go tell any political party to go screw themselves and have the bloody pulpit to do so. For those who think the Donald tows the Republican/Conservative line you better do some homework.

Actually, not.

Harvard's policy is not a reflection of Affirmative Action, it's admission policy is dedicated to having a diverse student-body because higher education is not just about what happens in the classroom. Higher education, especially a liberal arts education, is about learning outside the classroom as well. A diverse student body with a range of backgrounds allows students to learn first-hand about different religions, races, ethnicities, nationalities, economic statuses, social levels, and so on. Harvard's scholarship program, in place for many decades before Affirmative Action, has long had funds reserved for exceptional applicants who would bring such diversity to the school but who lack the personal means to attend without aid.

Thank you for your transparency, chielgirl. If only we could get the same from our President, as he promised...
Oh fer crying out loud, the man bankrupted a casino.
He has nothing to say that's worth hearing.

And if you want to play partisan oneupmanship, Rs only listen to morons.
If you want a person who bankrupted a casino to run the economy, you've got big problems.

The President was busy doing drugs and getting bad grades before college, so Trump does have a point. How far did affirmative action have to go to get him in or did it happen another way?

How come we can't see the President's college records and what he wrote about that was on his mind in college? Millions spent to close it all down to the public, so what's he hiding in your opinion?

Trump's life has been open because he financially benefits from it. Just like he's financially benefiting from this "testing the waters but not jumping in" pseudo-candidacy. He loves the spotlight. But that trait is a personality trait unique to him as an individual. It's not a trait of Republicans, per se. There are Democrats who revel in the spotlight. There are Republicans who treasure their privacy.
