Don't pay attention to the falling dollar, Obama's dismal policies, our soldiers dying overseas for a commander-in-chief who uses them for the globalist agenda. Yes the UK is a Monarchy, but it's a Constitutional Monarchy and Parliamentary Democracy. Rather than an Absolute Monarchy.

I think it is nostalgic. With things currently so bleak, people are yearning to recapture the magic of Charles and Diana in 1981. Forget how badly that turned out, people still want a fairy tale, a symbol of hope to cling to in this uncertain world of 2011.
