Why is George Bush trying to take credit for the operation that killed Bin Laden.
George Bush had 7 years to do it, and he couldn't do what Obama accomplished in 2 years.

What's more hilarious is the 1000s of time that I had to hear "George Bush is not president anymore"

Well, he is a politicians. Politicians always claim credits and blame others.

Honestly, I just don't understand why people should call. So what UBL is dead. It still does not change a thing. Is the government going to w/d troop and start doing what they suppose to do, protect the people by protecting the borders?

No, it took our military and intelligence 9 years to capture and kill OBL.

And while the OP is at it, they can list from start to finish, what Obama did to get Bin Laden, making sure nothing done to kill him had taken place during the Bush administration, because reports show the current activities began 4 years ago...

One might ask why Obama didnt show great leadership by giving credit where credit was due..

EXACTLY!

Bush humbly congratulated him on a job well done.

Dallasites have shown great respect towards Bush at his home in Dallas. He's had a whole lot of **** to contend with over the past 10 years. Bush is the one of started this whole "war on terror" thing anyways. Bush is the one who passed the Patriot Act.

Bush is the one who said "I hear you & soon the whole World will hear you to the ass hat at ground zero". The man didn't back down one bit & was't afraid of what people though about it either. Gotta love us Texans! We don't give a damn what others think.

So everything is Bush's fault as far as Obama's concerned but he didn't 'inherit' any of W's work on getting OBL.

Got it.

The text of former President Bush's statement on the death of Bin Laden:

OP read it very carefully with what little ability to understand you possess.

He did. Apparently, you are either deaf or you did not listen to his speech. Or you just like repeating lies to yourself.

In his speech, Obama credited the people who worked behind the scenes and who carried out the mission.

Without reading this whole thread, I'll tell you that supposedly, the CIA first got information about some of Osama's top aides by torturing Khalid Sheikh Mohammed when he was still in Europe. That was during the Bush administration.
