You thought that OBL was irrelevant?

LOLOL I love it. Good one and YES, it was damn tacky and sickening that bush did what he did.

I think Mr. Beamer had a valid point. A good commander gives credit to the team and not to himself when in public. YMMV

It's all about Obama. Did you count the number of "I's"? The man has no shame.

"I" just want to welcome everybody to the White House."
"I" thought it would be a good opportunity for leaders of both parties and their spouses to spend some time together outside of politics."
"I" think we've experienced the same sense of unity that prevailed on 9/11."
"I" want to again recognize the heroes that carried out this incredibly dangerous mission as well as all the military and counter-terrorism professionals who made the mission possible."

It's really too much to list, but as you can obviously can see, the message is all about Obama.

I mean, look how many times he says the word, "I". He should start replacing it with "you." That would be a lot better.
"You" just want to welcome everybody to the White House."
"You" thought it would be a good opportunity for leaders of both parties and their spouses to spend some time together outside of politics."
"You" think we've experienced the same sense of unity that prevailed on 9/11."

I don't know? Sounds kind of accusatory.
Maybe if he started referring to himself in the 3rd person.

Obama has to dream up something and make something happen to get himself some credit.

He has been tanking, his polls are dropping like a rock, his daily miscues, mistakes and constant poor decisions have shown us he is in way over his head.

Expect more "surprises" from Obama because he is only after what is best for him and will be selling us all out to save his own butt.

leader keep saying this was a huge risk for him, well what choice did he have?

A failed Presidency and a history of one mistake after another he is going to be pulling out all stops to put himself first and us afterwords.

Keep your eyes on everything he does as this to me was a total political stunt to help himself only.

Go watch the speech online. Count the times "I" was spoken. I watched it and didn't notice what the poster is claiming.

How would he welcome everybody to the White House, if not to say, "I just want to welcome everybody to the White House?"

"I want to again recognize the heroes that carried out this incredibly dangerous mission as well as all the military and counter-terrorism professionals who made the mission possible," isn't focusing on himself. He's focusing on the military and counter-terrorism professionals. You may not like it but, he's the President RECOGNIZING them.

You guys on the Right will nitpick anything to put President Obama in bad light.
