What liberal hypocrisy? Did Obama not make it clear enough for you in 2008 that he will go into Pakistan, and hunt down Usama Bin Laden, with or without the support of Pakistanis? Were YOU one of those "conservatives" criticizing him for making that statement and pissing off our good friends?
A law is a law, and it exists for a reason. Why do you think the Taliban wouldn't be breaking any law capturing and torturing you?
If liberals hadn't spent the better part of the last 8 years building the case for jury trials vs. military tribunals, demanding the closure of GITMO and secret foreign prisons, feigning concern for waterboarded terrorists, and calling for GWB's impeachment over terror policies, then you may have a point. But, these truths ARE what have transpired over the last 8 years, which proves that Liberals are nothing more than Partisan Hypocrites who have ZERO SHAME. Leveraging the LAW to claim the MORAL HIGH GROUND while killing an unarmed terrorist (instead of capturing and interrogating, as you Liberals love to hate) is Hypocrisy as its finest.

And liberals have been for closing ALL THAT, then and today. President Obama tried his best (beginning with issuing orders to shut down Gitmo), but who was opposing it all? I don't recall liberals. Were you? Were you for shutting these practices down? Do you consider these moral practices?

Nice attempt at deflection, but the subject of this thread is the left's hypocrisy. The question remains, how do you (liberals) square this execution of an unarmed individual with claims that waterboarded detainees had rights and those rights were violated?

You are elevating the status of terrorists to compare the treatment of uniformed soldiers, who represent the standing army for a sovereign nation, to multi-national terrorists and war criminals. whose actions are crimes against humanity.
Correct.
Making non-uniformed enemy combatants equal with legitimate uniformed soldiers is the only way waterboarding can be a war crime. Of course, if they are in fact elevated t this status, UBL's killing was premeditated murder.
