Getting back to the subject....Yes, Liberals are way more educated than the sweaty masses. That is why they are soooo much more qualified than you are to know what is best for you.

ppl in big cities tend to be more liberal

ppl in big cities tend to have more education

ppl in rural areas tend to be more conservative

ppl in rural areas tend to have less education

basically it's more of a city vs rural thing than a liberal vs conservative thing. it's the same the world over.

First of all, it's just like the Heritage Foundation to compare apples (2005 dollars), with oranges (2003-04 graduation rates).

Secondly,

FACT: There is no apparent correlation in dollars spent vs educational outcomes.
is not proven by that chart. We don't know what other districts are spending, just these top 50 in 26 states plus DC.

Who gets divorced the least? Evil atheist liberals from Massachusetts so maybe we're on to something even though we don't spend as much time tell everyone else how to live. Lastly, despite the stereotypes rural areas tend to have the most number of people in poverty and on assistance so rural white areas, which are overwhelmingly conservative, are where the majority of food stamp and welfare cases are located. Please, look in your own backyard and actually learn what you're talking about before you post nonsense like what I quoted up there.
wouldn't religious people be more likely to get married which would lead to those numbers. A marriage like relationship that's broken up is not counted as a divorce.

Then prove your point. Cite some sources showing that the more money a district in a large metro area spends, the better the outcome. Prove it instead of being a keyboard warrior hiding behind a computer screen. Since this thread was about large metropolitan areas and educational attainment, I thought it befitting to show statistics of the 50 largest US cities. If you don't like my chart, provide your own.

ETA: The chart I provided merely reprinted information from the US Dept. of Education and National Center for Education Statistics. Take issue with this, where the information came from.

All the other data except what you wanted to see, the sectors of education that you find the most repulsive.

All the rest of the data didn't work out so much for you.

I think you're the only person left on this planet that doesn't see college graduates are getting degrees they can't use along with being up to their eyeballs in debt in doing so, and to boot, they're cheating to even do that.

That's why they think even extremely complex problems or situations can be easily solved with "common sense" and why they mostly screw up everything they touch.

People who really know what their talking about tend to say less in general simply because they know how complicated something is so they don't want to make a mistake. Even in subjects they know little about they usually understand there is a lot they don't know so they're more likely to seek and listen to experts rather then thinking they can sort it out on their own with common sense and their gut feelings.
Well it's obvious to me from the posts I've seen from you that you are in fact one of the God hating liberals who thinks they're smarter than everyone else. Being one of the liberal elite, you of all people should agree with my original post in that education does not equate to intelligence. Their are smart and dumb liberals, conservatives, independents, libertarians, etc. But getting a degree does NOT mean you are more intelligent. It means you should, in theory, have more knowledge on the areas you studied than those who have not. However, a high school dropout could study up on a subject, comprehend the subject matter better and retain more information than someone who has been going to community college for 25 years now. Believe it or not, there are people with minimal education who are smarter than you are, guaranteed. Is that why you're so bitter?

Also fewer religious people are into open marriages, fewer accept adultery.

Please explain how #3 is not fact:
That graph is amazing. It shows at a glance everything one needs to know about spending. The district spending the very least of the 50 has the highest graduation rate. The top ten spenders are not seeing much for the money being thrown at them.

However, it doesn't tell you what other school districts in the state are spending, so you can't draw any conclusions from the numbers.
