I'm not gay but know some gays. They don't annoy me.
Why is America so obsessed with the sex lives of others? If everybody in America was straight, what then? Would that make society better? How?
If that wouldn't improve society why worry about the sex lives of others? Don't you have anything better to do?

Why don't we flip it around, if every American were gay, the birth rate would drop to near zero, and we would not survive as a nation, due to zero population growth.
There have always been gays, always will be gays, even if everyone were straight, there will always will be people who are reproductively sterile, and people who never married or never produced children.
Unless you think being gay makes them somehow different then other people, beyond them simply not producing children.

Real men are comfortable with their masculinity, not ashamed of their gender, don't bash their gender, are happy in their monogamous relationships, and don't seek friendships with the opposite sex.

I happen to agree with you. My only anti gay view or some would say, is marriage and then only because marriage is a religious ceremony between one man and one woman as far as I am concerned.
Of course society would not be better or worse, sexual orientation has nothing to do with good of evil.

I know many women and I've never heard one say it and there are groups against just about everything Homosexuals are not special when it comes to that.

The reason Christians are against acceptance of homosexuality in America is because they fear accepting it will invoke God to wrath upon this country. It's a common saying in evangelical circles that if God doesn't destroy America he owes Sodom and Gamorrah, which he destroyed by fire and brimstone, an apology. It's the evangelical belief that homosexuality is the worst sin and that it's the one sin God will wipe a nation off the face of the planet for tolerating. That may sound laughable to most people here but it's what I grew up hearing every Sunday for 22 years. So when people are bigoted towards homosexuals, in their own twisted way they are doing their part to save America.
