Guess that's where we diverge in opinion. I think that's majorly f'ing critical!!!
Yes I do.

Palin was McCain's VP, she had to parrot him in all things, which is why VP debates are worthless, all we get is talking pints because they are not allowed to express their personal views, only parrot the views of the person at the top of the ticket. BTW, many of the reporters were snarky and playing the got'cha game, and Palin was clearly sticking it to Katie with the "I'll get back to you on that one", in other words, she was saying go fly a freaking kite ya partisan hack.

Go back to the OP and tell me you voted for 0bama for those reasons.

I was thinking that after he’s elected I won’t have to be embarrassed about being an American every time my president opens his mouth.

I voted for McCain. Unless the GOP can field someone who isn't a social conservative in 2012...I will be voting for Obama.

I was thinking that McCain's time was in 2000, but he lost and was over his prime. Someone as lowly as Sarah Palin should never be in a position of that much power and McCain's decision to pick her showed that he was desperate and not thinking clearly.

I also thought that given the poor economic state of the economy, Romney would have been a much better choice for the Republicans.

I was also thinking that no matter who wins, they're going to have a very, very difficult first term.

I rather be shallow than endorse someone that has less knowledge on how political system works than myself

From my understanding, McClain did not pick her, the party did

Key word was "minority", if every minority in the country voted for one canidate he/she would not get elected without the help of whites. Come to think of it, isn't that similar what many past elected officals have been doing to various people of color since this country was founded?

I was thinking "I still wish Hillary had gotten the nomination". I liked McCain, especially because he is a veteran and I think the Commander-in-Chief should be one. However, he was 70, had already had cancer, and the idea of Palin as President was horrifying.
