It's writer has a very good understanding about history and economics and he tells the truth not a sugar coated version like you get from the MSM. Plus he has links to many other really good web sites.
I will check those out then.

Over the last forty or so years, actually throughout history, society has trended in a liberal direction. Not that that is a bad idea, it is what sprung forth the U.S./a. But accompanying the trend is liberalization of cultures. Again, not necessarily a bad thing unless you're a fundamentalist zealot of some sort. Unfortunately, many controls, or guidelines, tend to erode with the change. Included in that erosion would be adherence to Constitutional values.

It's taken a half century or longer to get here, it'll take a while to get back. But we don't have to jettison any lessons learned. We can adapt and incorporate those lessons into a better future. There's a trip to Mars in the near future. At least women won't be wearing long dresses and petticoats.

YES! I mean why is the U.S. in those countries anyway? What is the real reason..why can't we be like we we're before we got into WWII by keeping ourselves seperated from other problems? The real reason why we went to war in WWII is because of Pearl Harbor.

Unfortunately, the US went so deep and long into this recession, that is unable to recover without a decisive external influence. The last 60 years economical dips were short in duration and each time employment recovered once recession ended. Now, for the first time, corporate America shows record earnings with no turn on hiring. Employment and financial gains became separate and unrelated issues.

It's pretty simple actually but most Americans are so dumbed down, brainwashed, and otherwise mentally handicapped when it comes to understanding the creation of money let alone their own monetary history..............you take back the power by the people to print and coin their own debt free money, interest free money. Look folks....the cold hard truth you don't want to face is that your pie in sky idea of freedom doesn't really exist and never has. America, before it's entire concept of liberty and justice could ever get off the ground was hijacked by the bankers. As long as we give power to a cabal of private bankers who print money out of thin air and turn around and charge the American people interest on the power to create that money how is anything ever going to change economically for this country? I mean it doesn't matter who you vote into office...........THE US GOVERNMENT DOES NOT ANSWER TO THE PEOPLE! They answer to the CIA/Pentagon who answer to the corporations who answer to the bankers..........in that order. It's the bankers stupid! You've got a handful of rich elite families that have plundered, pillaged, subverted, manipulated and otherwise prostituted this great nation into despotism and economic chaos. They don't give a crap who you vote into office and they sure as hell don't care what side of the political spectrum you pay lip service too. In fact the more divided you/we are as a people bickering about left right paradigms they are bending you over, sodomizing you while they reach into your pocket and steal what little wealth, assets, and prosperity you worked hard to acquire.

I think Americans have become some of the stupidest people on earth for as "free" as we supposedly are. There are still young men and women willing to go off and die for these tyrants who run our country. LOL............and we criticize the muslim fanatical terrorists who blow themselves up because they so blindly believe in their religion. Atleast they will go to heaven, meet Allah and have sex with 20 virgins. Our young people dying for the facade of "democracy, and protecting the constitution" are lucky if they even make it back with PTSD, arms and legs intact and a job at McDonald's.

There is only one type of politician that can really enact change and change the direction this country is headed and that is Ron Paul. But look at the lack of media coverage and support he gets even now when our country is circling the drain and it's obvious what and who the problem is........ending, abolishing or otherwise totally revamping the Federal Reserve system will be the last futile attempt of a proud and free people to take back their government, their economy, and their nation.

I mean even if you believe in the private federal reserve system it's official point of creation was to end the business cycles that have caused boom and bust recessions and depressions throughout our history. It's failed miserably at the job it was intended to do. And it keeps chugging along like another huge dying elephant carcass in the room. Even if you HATE and I mean HATE everything else Ron Paul stands for..........if you don't see the point of abolishing this private cabal of bankers that have their grip on our economy and our livelihood as a nation..........well you are ignorant. It's time to wake up America...........vote people into office that actually will make a difference. There's a reason why Ron Paul is pretty much the only politician in Washington who is touting atleast auditing the Federal Reserve.......and there is a big reason why he's never gonna win........the bankers that control us are crazy......they killed two of our Presidents and led us to countless wars with their power and tyranny. They won't go silently into the night.

Heraclitus said it best "The only constant is change".

How do you fix this mess? Do nothing. There is no savior. There is no one single thing/policy to repair this mess. The domino's do not all fall at once. This cascade started long ago with perhaps the best intensions. Things change not because of us, but rather despite of us.

It's time to awake out of your literary stupor. That attitude will see the end of America for sure. If the world and this nation sits back and does nothing your children will be living like serfs in midieval times. All the progress that humanity has managed to squeeze out in terms of freedom, liberty, justice will be destroyed in what amounts to a blink of an eye as far as humanity's clock of time. Freedom is a fragile thing.......always has been and always will be. It needs to be protected and nurtered to the point of death. But most humans in the 21st century don't have that type of mentality and are barely willing to sacrficie their hamburgers and cell phones let alone their life for a real cause.

The tree of liberty needs to be watered with the blood of patriots. That is the real world.

Real world? Are you friggin' kidding me?

Since I have been paying attention .....
1. Reagan and his 'horse and sparrow' policies. Some merit to the trickle down theory, best intentions and all ....results are less than desired.

2. Clinton and NAFTA. Free trade sounds like a decent idea. Results - less than desirable.

3. Bush and the war on terror. Safety is a real concern. Bush went overboard. Results - less than desirable.

4. Obama and his 'change'. We needed change. Obama did not bring change. Results - less than desirable.

To infer our current situation is at the feet of one President, one party, one policy is foolish. To think one President, one party, one policy can correct our mess is equally foolish.
