That's silly, valid suspicion does merit further consideration.

If voter IDs were provided to the poor would you support voter ID laws 100%?

$40 ID? LMAO...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. Care to make up another fear mongering lie? Why don't you read the bills instead of making things up. There are provisions for the poor.

No, they obviously won't because they won't even acknowledge that there are provisions for providing the poor with ID for FREE. They won't mention it hoping they can sway others with their lies.

Can you explain how, in your state/city, a person registers to vote? Because I am confused on the actual registration process (which is separate from the ID law at the polls) for voting in a given municipality. In all the places I have registered I had to show a bill/lease, a photo ID, and have a valid social security card.

I had to show those things as well. None of their arguments make any sense.

Yep, sure would.

Thats what I said in my first post. I have no problem with id'ing people at the polls, if someone is able to get an id regardless of their ability to pay.

The poster I was responding to said that was crazy, I guess he doesn't want poor folks to vote. Some people can't afford a 40 dollar ID.

Here you go again. What damn ID costs 40 bucks? None that I'm aware of.
