Any poll that claims DC as a state is not reputable. Regardless of this poll, we see that gay marriage is illegal in more than half of those states, proving that even the most liberal of us don't care for gay marriage. I think Colorado actually just passed a constitutional ban on gay marriage.
Believe me, I am up. Just because people outside of wedlock are having children doesn't mean any fewer people within marriages are. It also doesn't make gay marriage permissible. Try to stay on topic!

You've repeatedly insisted that the reason for marriage is procreation. That's your opinion. It's not the law.

It's not ludicrous at all. In fact, I took a poll here last year on this very topic, and most people clearly said that the main reason for marriage is companionship. "Having children" came in third after "Other".
We want access to CIVIL MARRIAGE - civil marriage has nothing to do with religion.
Well by all means have a "CIVIL MARRIAGE"...but when gays demand a Marriage in a Church it kinda seems like they just want to rub it in the Religious peoples faces.

with ONE ruling by the SCOTUS every voter approved ban on gay marriage becomes null and void... keep that in mind
Not all gay men participate in anal sex. In addition, many heterosexual couples do have anal sex, and what about lesbians? Why do most discussions end up defaulting to male homosexual sex?
I have always wondered why "straight" men are so obsessed with lesbians! Somehow that type of homosexuality is ok with them but two men swapping spit isn't!
