What's wrong with changing marriage laws? We've done it before, and we'll do it again. Marriage has never been static. It's changed countless times throughout history. If you wish to live in the stone age still, feel free to move to Iran. You'd fit in well there.

I'm saying my homosexuality is natural, normal, and poses no harm to anybody. I can't think of any definition (other than some irrational or arbitrary religious one) in which it could be classified as some sort of disorder in need of treatment.

Change it. Knock yourself out. But calling us names doesn't accomplish much. Get enough people to agree with you and change it. Don't rely on activist judges to redefine it....just change the law if it's such a good thing.

There are a lot of people with disorders that don't think they need treatment.

That's not true.

Everything is legal unless it is expressly illegal because it causes damage to an innocent individual.

So we ought to just shut down the House and Senate? We'd probably save a lot of money that way.

It would certainly save a lot of money if they stopped passing laws that violate the Constitution.

I understand the concept of hyperbole. Do you? I was making an intentional exaggeration. I question the concept of homosexuality. Why would I fear a homosexual?
Satire does notwork on discussion boards unless you add a qualifier. Just a clue for future postings.

So then you recognize that their job is to legislate and not the judges, right?

I was waiting for the jump from rational discussion to fantasy land, thanks for not disappointing us.

I wasn't the one that brought up the "it's natural" argument.
