funny how this man who is destroying New York can't unleash this plan in his own city because he knows he would be booed off stage. the last two republican mayors of New York were successfull in making the city safe and wealtheir. Deblasio is destroying that, and wants to do that to the rest of America now with his "liberal contract with America" which is nothing more but the same old tax and spend crap that doesn't work.

Funny how Bloomberg is a Republican when you want him to me, and a Democrat when you didn't like what he was saying.....

And DeBlasio isn't destroying New York, the cost of rents are doing that on its own to the people who can't afford it.

"His own city has had about a 10 percent increase in the murder rate this year — and yet he did not increase the police in his budget by one single person," the former Republican congressman said in an exclusive interview.

NYC doesn't need more officers. They need a more narrowed job description. By all means go after the murderers, but quit making them tax collectors.

As for the rest, NYC won't be able to afford more officers anyway after everything shakes out if he got everything he wanted.

Have you read about all the recent group muggings in Central Park the last few weeks ?

Sounds like NYC is headed back to the old crime days of the 70's and 80's. Sad cause they were doing so well.

De Blasio's objectives include universal prekindergarten, a $15 minimum wage, paid family leave, easier access to unionization, and a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants.

Oh now that's just HORRIBLE! An educated, fairly paid, pro family, pro worker plan! HOW HORRIBLE! UGH! The ONLY thing I am against is the illegal immigrant crap.

The plan included other objectives, like improving the nation's financial sector by ending the "too big to fail" designation for large banks, restructuring CEO pay, expanding public transportation, and opening Medicare to all Americans.

Oh my some more HORRIBLE things!

Remember those commercials on TV last year telling businesses to come to NY and they won't have to pay taxes. And look at the NY State Development page using tax incentives to attract business to NY.

"New York State now has one of the lowest corporate income tax rates in the Northeast. In addition to lower corporate taxes, New York offers a variety of incentives to companies expanding or relocating in the Empire State." Taxes & Incentives

Funny how out of one side of his mouth he says higher taxes is the answer and then they try to attract business by advertising tax incentives.
