Of course, this business of predicting things before they actually happen is hardly new. We still haven't found those "Weapons of Mass Destruction" that were used as an excuse for what amounted to an invasion of Iraq. (Oh, wait, that can't be hung on the Obama Administration, and so it's probably "irrelevant.")
"Well, we do not believe that the flotilla is a necessary or useful effort to try to assist the people of Gaza. Just this week, the Israeli Government approved a significant commitment to housing in Gaza. There will be construction materials entering Gaza and we think that it's not helpful for there to be flotillas that try to provoke actions by entering into Israeli waters and creating a situation in which the Israelis have the right to defend themselves."
It's pretty clear she views the flotilla as an unnecessary provocation whose cause is obsolete with Israel's decision to allow building materials to enter Gaza. Besides, those "protestors" on the last flotilla were not unarmed.

Yes poor Israel will have to "defend itself" with lethal force from the unarmed protestors who's average age is likely 60.
First off these are not "Israeli waters"...... And provoking Israel means doing anything they don't like...hence they get to kill you.
How shameful it is as an American that have our country treat it's citizens like this.
Apologists for a foreign country can excuse and even advocate for the deaths of US citizens protesting and get away with it.

WMD was just one of MANY reasons to invade Iraq. WMD was near the bottom.

No it's not a case of predicting. It's the Obama Administration subtly telling us that when US citizens are killed by Israel again....it will be the protestors own fault.

Shame!
Agreed! We Americans should be allowed to wander freely into any conflict zone and instigate another country's military! How dare the sovereign nation of Israel enforce it's security policies!
