While viewing an Alfred Hitchcock movie, Glenn Beck and his family were accosted by hate filled Progressive scumbaggers.

I wish him a swift recovery from his injuries. The guy is a raging dumb-dumb, but that's no excuse for attacking and doing violence to him.

I like him and I think he is a decent person, but being so controversial a figure, he should have known better.

Success has its drawbacks.

I'm no fan of him but I wouldn't attack the man and especially not his family. Another classic example of the hypocrisy of the far left.

Sadly, so many liberals feel this way that they are so engrained in their beliefs and take it so seriously, they lash out on conservatives that they see. Thom Hartmann is the only progressive I respect (and agree with on a couple things) stand because he wouldn't advocate or do something like this

Beck: “You are so arrogant and so convinced that you are absolutely 100% right and you are helping build a system that is fueled by hate.”

If only Beck would take his own advice. Unfortunately crowds, at times, can be dangerous and unruly places.

Yes, swift recovery of his wife's injury of becoming wet. I hope it doesn't stain.

It's disgusting and I don't condone it, but aggrandizing it well past the point of truth and ranting about it is just as bad.

I'm not a fan either, but I was horrified when I saw the title of this thread. I wouldn't wish a violent attack on my worst enemy. Thankfully the "attack" was just someone knocking a glass of wine into his wife and telling him they don't like conservatives.

I definitely don't think that it is ok to have any type of altercation with a public figure of any sort when their children are present, and any type of physical assault is wrong, of course. That being said, sometimes these things come with the territory of being a "celebrity", especially one who plays such a polarizing character.

This occurrence doesn't make all liberals evil, just like right-wing violence doesn't make all conservatives evil. There are crazies on both sides.

Gotta love the media (editors). The use of the word "attack" is a bit much of course. I like Glenn and while Im sure Id hate to have to of dealt with that, it couldve been worse.

I always say, when you are a public figure, there are certain things that go along with all the fame and money. However, youre right, when the kids are around, have some damn decency and lay off a bit.

There are jerks and worse on all sides. And sadly, we live in a world with plenty of evil, indecency, and inconsiderate jerks and that will never change. Though I wish to God it would.
