I think the yute voters will do him in more than any. They all bought the hope and change and now graduate college with no job market and the hope is gone and they're working for change at the same jobs they did flippin burgers or waiting tables. The media will do it's best but we'll see Dan Rather or some other ******* fall outta his chair like Rather did when he found out Bush won Ohio come election night.

You know what you just said the truth. What the hek hope, how can those who have lost a job, have hope, those who lost their homes, have any hope, hope of finding a job to replace the one they lost, what hope, housing criris, values of home going up, nope going down, what hope. Businessess afraid to take chances, letting people go, what hope. Economy not seeing drastic improvement, what hope. There is none, the only hope we can hope for, is for peope's eyes to be wide open this time around, and not vote for someone based on a catch phrase such as HOPE AND CHANGE THE HEK YOU CAN?

I'm presuming that there is really one reason he may lose: the economy.

It won't be a good enough reason to get people to vote for any of the current potential Republican candidates, however.

Many voted for McCain last time and many more will vote for whoever is put up. Obama has destroyed the country in this short time. What will four more years of his rule bring? I think the dems will be thrown out of the senate too. Or maybe Obama hangs on and the repubs control the house and senate. Gridlock. Business loves that. Maybe that is the only way to get the economy going. Get the idiots in DC to do nothing.

Yes, the economy will be the "fall guy" reason, but the underlying root cause will be Obama's sky high rhetoric during the 2008 campaign and his inability to reconcile that rhetoric with reality. You can't ride into the White House on a Magic Carpet and then be surprised when the political winds don't keep you aloft anymore after you've let people down.

I don't believe Barack Obama had any idea what he was getting himself into. He should have resigned from the Senate back in 2006 like he was planning to do. The only reason he ran for President is because Harry Reid, when he found out Obama was considering resigning the Senate, he summoned Obama to his office to put the First Black President bug in his ear. That's the only reason. The guy was almost gone from American politics, and he was salvaged for political/historical reasons. Not because he was qualified.

We are now seeing the ramifications of that Democratic blunder. If he's ousted in 2012, the blame will lie squarely on the collective shoulders of Democrats.

I think you guys are in for a let down. The problem is you don't have the ability to be honest with yourselves. Instead you stick to your blind partisan world view and come here to validate it with others who think just like you. This behavior reinforces your skewed beliefs on what Obama has done, his policies, and America's views on his policies etc.

Because of this you are acutely unaware of why you will probably lose again in 2012.
