1) Tim Geithner, Treas Sec'y. Here's a guy who, as head of the New York Fed, went way out of his way to quell concerns about the possibility of a housing bubble. In effect, when we were on a drinking jag, there was Tim saying, 'that red wine is good for your health, it'll clear out your arteries.' Then when nominated, his tax violations were so egregious that IRS employees were up in arms about it, since they would have been fired if they did what he did.

This was Mr. Indispensable, the guy Pres. Obama had to have to lead us out of the economic mess???

2) Eric Holder. More than a year after border agent Brian Terry was killed we still have no idea exactly who in the federal chain of command authorized 'Fast and Furious.' And BTW, also there is the small matter (as far as the admin is apparently concerned) of several hundred dead Mexicans.

Holder refuses to turn over a critical wiretap application which would reveal what the DOJ did or didn't know about how F&F was being conducted. With the political/media environment being what it is, it appears that he, unlike John Mitchell, can get away with this stonewalling.

Holder claims that he is investigating and will hold accountable those responsible. But why does it take 16 months to find out who authorized a federal LE op? Shouldn't that info be immediately available???

3)Solyndra. Everyone knows about this but let's review: Solyndra investor George Kaiser donated $53,500 to Obama-2008. Then Solyndra received a loan guarantee for $535 million. In Sept. 2011, Solyndra closed its doors, filed for bankruptcy (leaving US taxpayers on the hook for the $535 mil) and laid off all employees. So much for 'green jobs.'

Just a couple weeks before Solyndra went belly up there was a story in the local press here (Seattle) about a $20 million federal 'green jobs' grant that created 14 jobs. $1.4 million per job--such a deal for the US taxpayer. Yet Pres. Obama is still pushing the 'green job' meme.

4) Last but not least--tooth fairy economics. The idea that we can funnel more and more money to what is already the richest region of the country, and somehow they will provide for the poor and middle class. And BTW also Washington DC is not only the richest, but is close to the top in gap between rich and poor, as revealed a couple days ago.

Tooth fairy economics is especially running rampant among the ill-informed, the 'bring back the cool' voters. It's what led a Sandra Fluke to think that 'other people' should be made to pay for her birth control pills.

It's what will destroy us if not stopped on Nov 6, 2012.

Who else belongs in a job when the only people qualified for the job are the very people who have motives to prey on our economic system?

Shouldn't we be talking about monetary reform of the fed rather than follow along on another fools errand blaming Obama and Geithner for the job descriptions they inherited? The real problem is the job description.

What candidate is allowed to run on the ticket of "I promise to immediately eradicate the patriot act"? Any party. Green, Dem, Repub, Indie, Libertarian. This is another nafta or nafta choice. No party has the ability to deliver the end of Patriot act. It must be a mandate from we the people. Period. This again reverts back to job description complaints. If the patriot act were not in place Holder would have checks and balances limiting his power as checks and balances were designed to do.

Grassley is not intending to genuinely serve or do anything but sling BS around to service his private agenda that aids and abetts the traitors to America.

Green jobs are real. I've noted there have been quite a few republicans seeing it as a cash cow to abuse any form of subsidy they can get their hands on. Ethanol deserves more of your ire than solyndra but because it's green, you're hating on green anything thanks to your prefered brand of propaganda, there's no discerning anything.
So, when windfarms are deliberately run into the ground to serve as proof why we ought to divest from R&D-- who has motive to do this?

Demented economics came with Reaganomics and they haven't quit yet. They need to be gone. Sandra Fluke wanting insurance products that serve her needs has nothing to do with religion, the price of tea in walmart, or the nasty games going on in back room deals. To imply it betrays your own scapegoat habits killing this country.

Reality Check:

-Toppled dictator (successfully this time)

- Cleaned up GW's dopey mess in Iraq as best he could

- was 100 percent correct on the auto bailout and saved the US auto industry

- saved the economy with the stimulus

- various pro-science, pro-education initiatives

- keeps separate of church and state strong

- Health Care (we can now join the ranks of the other civilized nations, finally)

- reaffirmation of the fact that the US is an independent nation, and is not the gag-bound slave to daddy Israel

What Romney/Santorum would do:

- Drop a few hundred million bucks and a few thousand dead soldiers going to war with Iran for Israel

- Incite and posture and ruin all ties built up by Obama in all Arab democracies

- lower taxes and increase the deficit

- increase military spending

- decrease infrastructure, health care spending

- Send labor over seas under the guise of economic Seriousness and Rationality.

etc. etc.

Reality-- it is indies, libs and dems who need to assert themselves calling Obama to task about unfinished business. We also need to clear out the maniacal tea plants disrupting about abusing authority in office. Hose the place down. Congress and senate alike. Republicans aren't a party anymore. That dog don't hunt.

I would have thought there was only 1 reason needed to get obama out of office. he is still nothing more than a community organizer, and not a good one either.

Looking at the situation realistically i think Obama has turned the ship around and is slowly heading in the right direction.
As for this upcoming election the GOP candidates are not giving me much confidence that they can do any better in fact i doubt they could even keep the ship heading in the right direction.
For those that are going to vote for any one but Obama just because for some reason you hate the man i'd check out thinking with your head rather than your heart for this upcoming election and work on getting some credible candidates for the 2016 elections.

As long as most Americans favor tax cuts and more spending it doesn't matter who we elect. Obama moved to the center after the ass whipping in 2010, just like Reagan did in '82 and Clinton in '94. The Republicans moved to the right making the mistake that the 2010 elections were a mandate. Obama will win. The Republicans insured this when they turned down the 4 trillion dollar deal. Recent history has shown Republicans only believe in small government when a Democrat is President.

We need a third party or independent deficit hawk to run, a Ross Perot type minus the restricted trade garbage, that is what it took a generation ago to restore fiscal sanity. Ross did not win but he did put pressure on those governing to return to fiscal sanity.

If ya take from Pete to pay Paul ya lose Pete's vote. Pete and Paul Jr. caint vote.

Your post is way to long...I can do it in two.

1. Signed NDAA
2.Lied and didn't get the unPatriot act repealed.

Problem is,he's a thousand times better than the two idiots who are leading for the GOP nomination.

Back to the least of the two evils once again.

The biggest reason for me is that he is not America's President. He is a partisan shill. You're either with him or against him. He declared war on half of America.
