That works for me. I only get paid for billable hours, and I only pay others when they have billable hours. If I do not work, I do not get paid. If they do not work, they do not get paid. The day is irrelevant. If someone wants to work on weekends or holidays, they get paid for the billable hours they worked. If they do not want to work on a given day, they do not get paid. That seems pretty simple and straight forward to me.

Yes and it should be replaced with Obama's theme from today: One nation, under debt, unsustainable, with poverty and destruction for all.

No deep breaths necessary.
When I said that it was about children, I meant MY BLOOMIN' POST.
Go back to sleep.

Eisenhower was a progressive? I had to learn the pledge before Under GOD was in there and over 50 years later still trip over it. If you need a "Pledge" to make you do the right thing then you have other problems

If there was ever a time that this nation needed God's help... now is that time.

Waiting on help from a non-existent, mythological being is folly.

May I ask if, perchance, you associate yourself with the Left?
The party of acceptance, non-judgement, peacemaking, nondiscriminatory practices, nonprejudice?

Just a hunch.

I associate myself with the Left and I believe in God...

and for me it's much more than just agreeing with some lofty idea of an unknown "Higher Power".

1. Neither God or His principles are responsible for the creation of any of the problems you've listed ...

2. Reciting empty words won't make anything change...

3. God has been around much longer than a couple of centuries.

REALLY
