I'd guess it's unlikely that Cindy will have perjury charges filed agianst her, but I hope it happens...and she is found GUILTY and gets the maximum time in prison. It would pretty much capture how dumb the jury's not guilty verdict was of a lying child murderer while her mother gets prison time.

I know the defense doesn't have to prove anything. Since when does the state have to exclude every 'possible' alternative. That's not how it's supposed to work.
I suppose Baez could have said Caylee drowned in the bathtub, the swamp, or played with a plastic bag and suffocated, or simply wandered away, and you'd want the state to disprove those 'possibilities.'
A reasonable doubt is not a mere possible doubt, a speculative, imaginary or forced doubt. To return a not guilty verdict because an alternative is 'possible' or 'speculative' turns the system upside down.
It does when that's the alternative that the defense is pretty much hanging on.
Judging by the fact that there could be no discernible cause of death, it's a very real possiblility.
The bottom line is, the prosecution HAS to prove their case, or they don't win.

According to your skewed reasoning, the right wing supporters should never debate another issue concerning Obama policies...because the people spoke in 2008 and he is the POTUS. See how that works?
Because a jury of citizens came to a verdict, does not mean that other citizens cannot discuss the issue. There is a petition in the works to create a law that will make it a crime to not report a child missing...is that also something not open to discussion because the trial is over and the dirty deed is done?
Casey Anthony left her toddler unsupervised and when she found the child, she failed to call for help or ever report the death...if in fact it was a drowning accident.
Explain how she is less guilty than this woman????
