Ft. Hood Shooting Suspect to Face Death Penalty

The Army psychiatrist charged in the deadly Fort Hood rampage will be tried in a military court and face the death penalty, the commanding general for the Texas military post announced Wednesday.

Maj. Nidal Hasan is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder in the November 2009 shooting spree at the Texas Army post.

Couldn't happen to a better guy.

I can't think of anything other than that. They ought to wrap his corpse in bacon before burial. That might send a message to any future potential jihadists.

Yea....great news.

I don't care whether or not he gets life or the death penalty. Let's just get the guy tried already so i don't have to hear about it anymore.

I hope they put his papers, writings, and speeches into evidence so everyone can see his jihadist motivation for the slaughter of our servicemen. It would be even better if he took the stand himself.

Don't worry Obama will try to stop it by saying that he didn't get a chance to consult with his Imam or something.

He should face a firing squad of every GI at Fort Hood, each holding a pistol to shoot a vial of ...whatever drug... death penalty in a base of pig's fat. Maybe watching a film of the dancing virgins he'll never see.

I wonder if his defense claims he was insane if they would send a crazy man to the gallows.

If they say he's insane then all radical muslims are insane and we can't kill them.
