I don't think that the bible teaches that homosexuals are bad people, only that the act of homosexual intercourse is forbidden. We choose our behaviors and suffer the consequences or reap the rewards. It is up to us to choose wisely and up to God to judge our choices in the end.

Following this logic(just for a moment) God also doesn't approve of murder, premarital sex, and a host of other things, but that doesn't stop people from doing them.
God gave us freewill. This means that we have the ability to make choices and decisions that may not be acceptable to him.

If you read the posts of those who start these threads you'll see what group is obsessed with how gays are perceived by non-gays.

Well said, society places limits on us or pay the consequences for the sake of society. Our parents placed limits on us or pay the consequences because they love us and only want what is best for us. God is no different.
