That said, I'm all for reducing taxable income and putting the federal government on a lean diet.
Feel free to step up and tell everyone what you would cut. You seem to sure of yourself. I think I'm yet to see one big government whiner who has any actual ideas that work.

People have been working all their lives and payed into social security. These are more than promises that have been made to people. This is what people have payed for.

I think everybody gets that wealthy people who are not counting on this money can let some go. Most people need it though.

I think people who would try to avoid that responsibility are dead beats. Childish without responsibility.

It's quite obvious those in power are not interested in "fixing" anything just kick the can down the road. Meanwhile the banks are stealing the wealth on a daily basis from the people while our leaders sit by and watch or join in. How many of these politicians made a fortune investing in the banks that were bailed on by them? Remember there is no insider trading on those in DC. The best way to get the system fixed is to break it beyond recognition. No more EPA, FDA, Ed Dept get rid of it all and rule by the Constitution. Those who are prepared will be fine. Those who aren't well let them kill each other off in the riots to come. It will come just a matter of time. Why not speed it up.
