saying, "These are not the most reputable people."

Ron Paul Privatize TSA Airport Security | Video | Breaking news and opinion on The Blaze

"Rep. Ron Paul fired off a rhetorical salvo at the TSA Tuesday, decrying its air travel security policies and calling for TSA’s replacement by private security forces."
“The press reports are horrifying,” Paul said, according to The Hill. “Ninety-five-year-old women humiliated, children molested, disabled people abused. Men and women subjected to unwarranted groping and touching of their most private areas, and involuntary radiation exposure."
“If the perpetrators were a gang of criminals, their headquarters would be raided by SWAT teams and armed federal agents,” he continued. “Unfortunately in this case, the perpetrators are armed federal agents."

This guy "gets it." His ideas are always compatible with restoring our freedom and reducing the grip and expense of big government. Ron Paul is the real thing; not just rhetoric.

Obviously, Sen Paul forgets all the yelling and screaming about incompetent private firms who allowed 19 highjackers to board four airliners with box cutters. My what a difference 10 years makes.

We had the information and Bush got plenty of memos. What did he do? Take another vacation.

Your angst is misguided.

Once again Ron Paul is right on the money.

Oh. I take it you prefer stun guns over box cutters?

I doubt anyone today will allow someone with box cutters to take over a plane. Before 9/11, people were more likely to be passive about it. Molesting children is not needed for security.

Paul's idea just places "the same abusive tactics" in the hands of private goons. It's nothing more than one tyrant passing the baton to another tyrant. Will it save money, who really knows.

TSA agents are barely trained. They are low wage laborers that we allow to grope us. This isn't healthy for any society. It's sickening that we've allowed it to get this far.

Will it save money? Sure. Tax Payers won't be funding it. You don't fly? You won't pay.

As for the "abusive tactics," I believe privatizing will permit more input from the people paying to fly.
