A default does exactly what this nation needs.

It will immediately get government out of the individuals business.
The people will once again be more powerful than the central government of a Republic.

You either are ignorant of the facts or refuse to accept them.

According to Obama, anyone making $250k or more are rich. THAT is the people he is going after.

That may sound 'fair' to republicans - but it is certainly not 'fair' in economics or social responsibility.
You don't know much about the FairTax, do you?

Enlighten yourself here: Americans For Fair Taxation: Americans For Fair Taxation

I think some kind of consumption tax, even if not the FairTax, would be better than this crap tax code we currently have.

Another classic example of the "real" reason behind the Republican dissent against President Obama....and by a Southerner (a la Joe Wilson), no less

Republicans/TPers/Conservatives have hurled every racial epithet at President Obama and then try to hide their hands like the cowards that they are.

All do it but Dems don't call their own to task on it until it gets really out of hand and embarrassing.

I will move on when those who are terrified to lose their "privilege" move on
