Make no mistake about it — Obama is not Bill Clinton. Obama doesn’t believe in compromise. When Clinton was faced with a new Republican Congress in 1995, he did a 180-degree turn on many of his agenda items. He embraced Republican ideas like massive welfare reform and even slashed capital gains taxes. The system of give and take and compromise worked and propelled the nation into economic prosperity.
Compare that to today: The president seems to want it his way or no way.
Perhaps politics is playing a big role here. Obama is trying to placate his liberal base, which is angry with him. He won the last election by promising radical changes in foreign policy, especially when it came to U.S. policy toward Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran. He defeated Hillary Clinton largely on these issues. Boehner Stands Firm

It must really get into your craw doesn't it.
Shame though...if the Republicans actually did what they promised back in 2000 and 2004 and not spent like drunken sailors and got rid of the $5 trillion debt you wouldn't have this problem now would you.
You would have had another 4 years of Republican rule under a Republican Congress and President, but no Bush and his Republican Congress had to go and screw it up for you, and now look what you got.
Don't blame the liberals, they are just liberal. And don't blame independents, what else did you expect them to do when their country got sold out. Now you got a fringe group of whackos more to the right then you are killing your precious GOP from inside your own party. And it looks like Obama may get reelected again. God I feel so sorry for Republicans when they blame Obama for everything

LOL! Look what Clinton got for his troubles..... Impeached!
Barack Obama painted himself into a corner with his Sky High Rhetoric.
For him to turncoat now would be an affront to his own soaring promises. He knows he ****ed himself in 2008. He's paying for it now. In fact, we all are.

Yeah, who would have thought that he would create a great vision for American only to have the Republicans act like a bunch of pre-teen graffiti artist.
