No, he's made somew valid observations about humanity. Negative observations, but valid. Btw porn is one of the reasons humanity deserves to be eradicated.

humans mostly suck. they're ignorant, mean, selfish, they're at their worst in the workplace where the stupidest get promoted because they 'know someone'. Any little difference between someone causes people to 'other' that group that has that difference. LIfe is so petty, full of menial boring stupid things that unless you're a kid life is only about ten percent fun and 90 percent bullcrap all made because of stupid people who want to make life more complex for greedy or selfish reasons.
I love animals (non human ones since humans are an animal) more than humans. I'm sure animals share some of these qualities but humans take them to an intolerable level. Would the earth be better off without people? maybe some better animal will evolve and grow to dominate the planet that doesn't suck so much. I don't wish any ill will on any particular person, I don't want anyone to suffer, I want others and myself to be happy but actually it's my compassion that makes me notice these things.. it seems like qualities like compassion and actually WANTING others to be happy, not being a harsh ahole or racist, homophobic and not being a bully are the REASONS why humanity sucks so much and religion and politics just make everything worse. MOST people are very hard to like. (by humanity i mean myself as well, i'm sure i share in some of these qualities and don't realize it but sometimes it's just too much.)

I think a lot of what you say is certainly true and varies around the world within individuals.
I also think the conclusion/ thought of eradicating humans for the "good of the earth" has support....in the lunatics that run and support the UN and their "better than God" attitude (in their minds).
Should we eradicate Foxes because they eat chickens?

Carl Sagan is dead on on what we face right now and a threat we face in this un-stable period. I mean North Korea, Pakistan and Iran are major threats to not only the US and NATO allies but to the EU, China, India and Russia and now is a good time to work together and disarm them.
It would be easy if china agreed to help with NK and India helped with pakistan and if Russia stopped supporting Iran it would ease alot of tension. One major act of aggression by a rouge nation would be the worst thing that could happen if NATO memeber all comitted their assets and with Russia, China and India also sending their massive amounts of military assets we could take care of real a future threat.

Haha! That's the cartoon I see in my head whenever someone starts telling me how compassionate they are, how empathetic, how unselfish, how they weep for humanity, etc. I like this OP though, because it's so rare that you get all that 'I'm such a sensitive person' blather followed so closely by "...and every man, woman and child on Earth should be put down like dogs because they won't be like I want them to be". lol! Talk about entitlement! I guess that's why the more sensitive and caring the dictator, the higher the body count.
