In no small measure facilitated by the most ignorant populace since the creation of America, the Senate just passed the debt ceiling bill. All that is left is for the "Kenyen-In-Chief" Obama to sign the death certificate of the American Republic.

This legislation establishes a "Super Committee", made up of 12 congressmen (6 democrats - 6 Republicans) with the President being the 13th member. This "Super Committee" effectively renders the Congress null and void, and establishes what can only be described as a "Council of 13" .... it's a stealth overthrow of the US Government, and the destruction of Constitution, and democratically elected representative government.

This "Super Committee" by legislative authority will originate all spending bills (which effectively means everything because everything cost money). The former congress (Senate and House) will no longer craft legislation ... that will be done by the 13 member committee. Congress will only be allowed to cast an UP or DOWN vote in the House and Senate, without debate or participation in the crafting of this legislation. If the proposed legislation by the Committee is rejected by either the House or Senate or both, the committee has the authority to institute immediate spending cuts (1.2 Trillion) at their sole discretion, in any fashion they deem appropriate without consulting or gaining approval of the House and Senate. The president is the deciding 13th vote if a deadlock exists on the committee. This is an act of treason by all in congress who approved the bill, granting virtual dictatorial authority to 12 members of congress and the president, for which they have no power to do.

Effectively this does what:

1) With the division of legislative power divided equally among 6 Democrats and 6 Republicans ... majority party powers are effectively squashed (as is your voting power). Might as well just allow the president to appoint the 12 conspirators.

2) Presidential Powers are now irrevocable, requiring only 6 partisan "committee" members and the president to drive the legislative agenda, relegating congress to a rubber stamp yay or nay impotent lot of overpaid misfits (they always have been that, but now it's official).

3) Under the guise of a temporary means to manage the debt and avoid a default, the United States Government as it is structured by the constitution, along with the separation of powers which was the primary intent of that constitution, is gone. Dismissed, and tossed in the garbage can.

For those who find reality tough to embrace, this probably sounds like a conspiracy theory ... but to those who can read, and think for themselves, the reality is clear. Bye bye politics ... bye bye constitutional government ... so long American voter ... you are now the property of the Federal Reserve Bankers who absolutely own both parties leadership, which will constitute the new "Council of 13"

Now watch Obama and his 6 democratic traitorous merry men come after your guns. That's the next step in the on going plans for your total enslavement. Vote them out next year ... no effect ... there will just be another 7 traitors to take their place from the other side.

God Bless America, may she rest in peace. August 2, 2011.

Congress - needs - to - be - replaced - with - new - members - who - can - clean - the - crap - out - of - the - House - without - sweeping - the - dirt - under - the - carpet.

And if that includes my Senator or my Representative, regardless of how much I like him or her and regardless of how 'powerful' he or she may be... they must go. And forget the crap about how that would impede the progress of a well functioning Congress. We've just seen how that does NOT hold any realism.

Everything else is just noise.

I heard about this on the radio. The WH press secretary was asked if Obama would have any influence on the Dems picked and he said "No, but the President has passed along his suggestion of names".

Well, that's influence.

With the most pathetic contingent of the GOP in modern times cursing the Congress with their idiotic nonsense, Congress is broken. The founders certainly didn't foresee a black President, and a racist tea bagger movement that resulted. The Constitution is not a perfect document that should be followed as bigots would like (Originalists). It serves as a guide to be followed, yet tweaked to fit the times.

Spare us the nonsensical Conservative narrative. Jesus, these regressive right-wing rants stink to no end.

I read about this when it was first proposed. Not surprisingly, it's getting little play by the mainstream media and, as usual, the general public is apathetic and willfully ignorant. If the government cancelled American Idol, people would be out in the streets in force, but shred the Constitution? Just another day. No one cares anymore. The beginning of the end was a long time ago.

Apathy and ignorance will allow a government to do what it wants.
And when no one reacts..it takes even more the next time.

The history books attest to these types of doings.

Why am I thinking of Hitler?

This is nothing other than hijacking our political system of Representative Government to a Ruling Class of one with twelve advisors. This is not constitutional and he can't get away with it. Nothing other than another ploy by the Dictator in Chief to consolidate power in the personage of Obama.

Why/How did we ever elect this guy?

We need to get Ron Paul in the White House and restore our government to a Constitutionally Based Representative Democracy.

God Help Us.
